Sungrid was founded with one simple mission – to reduce the cost of solar energy in order to make it affordable for homeowners and businesses to generate their own clean, emissions-free, renewable electricity. We strive to provide technically efficient, high quality products and services at the lowest possible price. Using our extensive international experience and market knowledge of the renewable energy industry, we seek to increase the ‘economic efficiency’ of solar energy systems. We base our pricing on seeking economic parity with coal and gas generated electricity in order to reduce the payback period on a home or business owner’s investment in renewable energy and ensure a reasonable rate of return.

Our underlying philosophy is not just to sell solar technology but to reduce the consumption of fossil fuel generated electricity - by making solar systems affordable and encouraging our clients to reduce their personal energy use.
